Why Precut Quilt Kits?
Sometimes it is difficult to find the time to make handmade items. Beginner quilters interested in creating quilts may feel daunted by cutting their own shapes and by all the fabric choices available. Even seasoned quilters may find it difficult to set aside time for the entire quilt creation process. Precut quilt kits are more convenient and help the quilter save time.
How are Quilt Designs Decided?
There are several different ways to design quilts. Our kits are precut and designed for sewing right out of the box. This means that patterns and designs are created or altered to fit this requirement. We specialize in smaller designs that are intended for wall hangings, but they can also be used as the center for larger quilts. We use many traditional block styles and alter the colorway through fabric choices.
What Do We Use for Packaging?
Packaging and shipping precut fabric pieces requires some forethought. The pieces can easily become bent or frayed and arrive in a messy jumbled pile. Keeping them in organized piles that are stacked carefully, wrapped snuggly, and shipped in a box is the way we decided worked the best. Realizing the amount of packaging we would go through we wanted to use environmentally friendly packaging that is recyclable or biodegradable.
